NavEd goes mobile-first with a complete redesign.

NavEd now works beautifully on phones and tablets. We've redesigned the interface with bottom navigation that's intuitive to thumb-tap, and the app now works offline with PWA support. Teachers can mark attendance, parents can check grades—all without constantly reaching for the top of the screen.

Parents managing multiple children can now see their entire family's information in one place. Instead of switching between students, you get a unified dashboard showing all your kids' grades, assignments, and attendance at a glance.

School admins can now import hundreds of students at once using a CSV file. The system automatically creates corresponding parent accounts and sends invitations. What used to take hours now takes minutes.

We've also moved attendance tracking to the Standard tier, making it available to more schools without needing a Premium subscription.

More control over your end-of-year report cards.

You asked for flexibility in your report cards—and we delivered. The End-of-Year Report Card generator now lets you pick exactly what to include when you print.

Whether you need to print just Quarter 2 without final grades, or exclude electives from a specific report, you've got full control. Select which quarters to include, toggle Year-to-Date grades on or off, hide final grades if you're still calculating them, and skip electives entirely. Perfect for schools with non-traditional grading calendars or custom reporting needs.

Fixed critical invitation system bug.

We've fixed a critical bug in our invitation system that was preventing some users from completing their account creation when joining a school. If you've had trouble accepting an invitation or creating an account, please try again—it should work now!

This fix ensures that when a school administrator sends you an invitation link, you can smoothly create your account and start using NavEd right away.

Cleaner design and fixed application display issues.

We've made several improvements to make NavEd cleaner and more reliable.

We've reorganized the features page to highlight what matters most for your school. You'll now see core functionality front and center, making it easier to understand what's available to your team.

Teachers and staff will no longer see a black screen when working with student applications. We also fixed styling problems in the applications list that were making it hard to read data.

NavEd now has all the core features you'd expect from a modern student management system.

We're thrilled to ship the foundational tools that make NavEd useful for day-to-day school operations. Teachers can now manage subjects, enter grades, and track student progress. Students have a portal to view their grades and attendance. Parents can monitor their children's performance in real time.

We also gave the entire interface a visual refresh using modern component design, making everything cleaner and easier to navigate.

This release represents the first complete version of NavEd—the foundation we'll build on for years to come.

Every email from your school now carries the NavEd brand polish. Our new professional email template system ensures consistent, polished communication with parents, staff, and students. Your messages look great in every inbox, on every device.
